This is the first film for which I have written only dialogues.

HIT was especially challenging because of the brief given to me by the director. He told me “Nobody should remember the dialogues of my film”.

It was also the first time that I wrote dialogues in the Rajasthani dialect.

People often ask me if the rape scene was written like it was shot?

The answer is yes.

Everything was written down before we went to shoot it.

That is how good movies are made.

Kesari Poster.jpg

Kesari was Sunir sir’s vision. (Sunir Kheterpal, Producer, Azure Entertainment). He narrated the true story of the battle of Saragarhi to me.

I wrote Kesari in 2013 but it was made and released only in 2019.

Kesari went on to become the first Akshay Kumar film to ever gross more than Rs. 150 crore.

Marathon Baba is not a true story. It is not autobiographical either.

Yet every interviewer asked me if it is my real story.

I wish I could write like this again but I know I wont be able to.

Marathon Baba is a forest that I never bothered to manicure.

I wrote it in about 6 months and it was a best seller when it released in 2012.

Everyone asks me how I made the candles spark in this movie.

All I can tell you is that there are no special effects used there. It was a practical effect done in camera.

This is a secret that is going to my grave with me.

My first feature as a DIRECTOR is almost complete. Can’t wait to share it with the world.
