“Creativity finds its own Creator”

Every story must be written twice. First for yourself and then for your reader.

An idea is like a weed.

Its growth is not in your control and it gradually spreads into a forest. Dark, deep and chaotic.

But only the adventurous will venture into a forest. If you want everyone to feel safe in there, you must manicure the forest and turn it into a garden. You must pave pathways and install lights.

Now, people will pay to visit your garden.

That’s how writing is done. First the forest, and then the garden.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, I am a thorough bred Juhu boy who has grown up on Sherlock Holmes, The Three Investigators and Tin Tin.

I wrote my first play in school at the age of 14.

Soon after I came of age, I discovered the Godfather and the Mahabharat at the same time. Life has never been the same since.

I believe story telling should be personal. Only then can it be truly unique.

I like to call myself an author and not a writer.

I believe an author writes for himself while a writer for others. What about a poet you ask? Well, poetry writes itself.

Thanks for visiting.
